Live Edge Electronic Design Competition

My friend Gregg Osterhout sent me a link to the live-edge electronic design competition. Thanks Gregg! He knows that I am looking for examples of design competitions and open source design projects as I continue to work on the System Big Play project. This competition seems to be more design to generate traffic to a group of affiliated online electronic parts vendors. I like the sentiment though.
